This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students absolutely love relaxing during their reading time. Having a nice cozy nook with a new rug and bean bag chairs for them to enjoy, builds their motivation to want to read more often. This project will give my students the motivation they need to be able to relax with a friend or two and enjoy a good book. The library in our classroom is building so more bookshelves to store all the books would also give students more of a choice when it comes to reading. Growing a love for reading is key to success, and I know this project will truly help my students.
