This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are so happy to have a pet tarantula in the classroom, they constantly walk up to its small temporary home to see it when it comes out of its burrow.

I'm so excited to be able to give our pet tarantula more space to grow and give my students more surface area for them to observe the tarantula's natural tendencies.

They will be able to see how the tarantula keeps growing, sheds its skin, and it will entice the students into learning more about arachnids and doing their own research.
