Cozy Couch Flexible Seating for Fabulous Fifth Grade Group Work

Help me give my students a cozy convertible modular sofa for small group reading and partner work. I moved to fifth grade this year and I want my students to get excited about flexible seating.

My Project

I am so excited to add two cozy modular couches to my classroom reading area. My students can sit and work in pairs or small groups and move about the room. My fifth graders love to work on the floor together.

My vision is to create an inviting small group meeting spot that can double as a cozy reading area during independent reading.

The modular couches can be reconfigured to fit the changing needs of a classroom. My students would also love sitting on these couches instead of at a desk, while working in small groups for reading.
