My Project

What I love most about my students is their enthusiasm and curiosity. They come to school ready to learn, ask thoughtful questions, and dive into books with excitement—even when their circumstances make that difficult. Many of my students find comfort and escape in reading, and our classroom library has become one of their favorite spaces. It's a place where they can explore new worlds, connect with characters like themselves, and develop confidence in their reading abilities.

Right now, our library space is well-loved but worn down.

The carpet is old and fraying, and we don’t have enough cozy seating options. With new pillows and a soft, inviting carpet, I can transform this space into a true reading sanctuary—a comfortable, welcoming corner where students feel safe and encouraged to grow as readers.

These resources will support focus, comfort, and a love of reading. When students are physically comfortable, they can stay engaged longer and truly enjoy the experience of getting lost in a good book. Your support will help create a space that feels like home—and makes learning something they look forward to every day.
