This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Reading is something I want to make fun for my students. Every time they pick out a book, I want them to be transported to another realm. However, the desks at school are hard cold metal constructs that don't always facilitate the imagination process.
I want a give my students a comfortable place where minds can imagine and explore the wonders of reading.
I've already purchased and acquired a few bean bags for my room. With the generous help of many people, I'm also waiting for a reading carpet. I am just hoping to get a few more bean bag chairs for everyone to share. The kids all squish together on the few I have right now and I would love to give them more.
