Cozy & Collaborative Space: a New Rug for Engaged Learning!

Help me give my students a cozy new classroom rug that will provide a collaborative space for whole group learning and a comfy spot for independent work time.

My Project

My students are incredible, curious learners who thrive in a comfortable and engaging environment. Our current classroom rug, unfortunately, has seen better days. It's worn, faded, too small, and no longer provides the inviting space we need for a variety of crucial learning activities.

A new rug would transform our classroom becoming the heart of our learning space.

A new rug would provide a designated area for:

* Circle Time & Morning Meetings: A comfortable spot for sharing, discussing our day, and building a strong classroom community.

* Small Group Instruction: A quiet and defined space for focused work with small groups, where I can provide individualized support.

* Read Alouds & Story Time: A cozy spot for students to gather and immerse themselves in the magic of books.

* Flexible Seating Options: A soft surface for students to spread out, collaborate on projects, or simply enjoy a quiet reading moment.

* Movement & Brain Breaks: A safe and defined area for active learning games and much-needed movement breaks.

A new rug would not only enhance the aesthetics of our classroom but, more importantly, create a more welcoming, functional, and conducive learning environment for all my students. It would foster collaboration, encourage independent reading, and provide a comfortable space where every child feels a sense of belonging.
