Cozy Classroom Rug: Creating a Comfortable Learning Space for All
Help me give my students a comfortable rug. This new space will not only enhance their comfort, but also encourage movement and foster connections among peers.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is in need of a rug to provide a comfortable and inviting area for my 27 students. Currently, our seating is limited to chairs, which can be hard for young learners to stay engaged all day. A rug will give them a much-needed alternative, allowing them to sit comfortably during read-alouds and group activities.
This new space will not only enhance their comfort, but also encourage movement and foster connections among peers.
