This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Within this order, I have included several items. I plan to put the couch and rug in the back corner of my room as an area where kids can sit and study as they need.
In middle school they have very little room that it just for them so I hope to help them enjoy the journey a little more!!
It will also provide a comfortable space to have small groups and make students feel involved while not being "called out".
The standing desk is also important to the flow of the classroom. Being able to quickly assess what is happening on my computer (emails and group chats), taking attendance, and help students without having to sit will allow the classroom to flow better. Students use my desk often as an alternative workspace, so being able to convert my current desk into a usable space for them is important!
