My Students
The students I teach are SUPERSTARS! They are from all different backgrounds, races, gender identities, socio-economic classes, abilities and talents. LMAAC, a very special place, is an arts academy that offers drama, chorus, music, art, dance, culinary classes, and more.
My students are hard working, respectful, kind, and thoughtful.
They say "good morning" when they enter the classroom and "thank you" to me each day they leave. They spread love and joy tome and their peers everyday!
My Project
With your generous donations, my 6th grade students will have the opportunity to get lost in a world of Greek mythology. They will join twelve year old Percy Jackson as he embarks on the most dangerous quests of his life! In this five book series, Percy must team up with his friends retrieve Zeus' stolen thunder bolt, battle mythological beasts, and work with the Greek Olympians who help him.
Everyone needs a place to escape, and these incredibly comfortable, memory foam, bean bag chairs will give my hard working and well deserving students an amazing space to relax and get lost in these exciting myths, and other novels from my classroom library.
I can't think of a better motivation to want to read. Thank you for giving them this experience!
