Cozy Carpet and STEM Bins Needed

Help me give my students a comfortable place to sit during reading and carpet time. Students also will be actively engaged in STEM bins during exploration time.

My Students

My first grade scholars are lively, creative, curious, and eager to learn every day! They are special because they are always wanting to learn more and learning to not be afraid of making mistakes. They love listening engaging to stories during carpet time.

They thrive in a Project Based Learning environment and are always quick to help each other if someone is having a difficult time.

They are able to work together, problem-solve, and they enjoy being part of our 1st grade classroom.

My Project

Students gather for carpet time multiple times a day in the classroom. Having a carpet that has space for each student will allow students to focus and be more engaged during carpet and library reading time.

The cozy carpet also will allow for students to have a space to dive into a book during reading time.

Each student having their own spot makes them ready to learn each time we gather as a class. A comfy place to sit will make a difference by allowing the students to feel safe and comfortable in their classroom environment.

Students will enjoy experimenting, creating, and building by using the STEM bins. This will allow for teamwork, individual work, and for students to explore.
