Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will utilize these materials inside to learn, grow, and develop in their social emotional skills. My goal is to create a welcoming and collaborative space for my students to engage with their IEP goals. My students are able to work best on their goals when they are comfortable and feel safe. many of the materials in this project will support diverse learners with movement, sensory needs, and spaces to better engage in learning. The weighted stuffed animals will provide sensory support my students as they work on their goals. The storage bins will be used to organize their projects and supplies. The dollhouse furniture wild used for dramatic play.

My students deserve high quality materials and classroom supplies to connect and grow at school.

My students will be able to use flexible seating to better engage at school. They will use the cozy rug to read on, and they will relax in the tent to regulate their big feelings. With a recently funded book project on Donors Choose, my students will need a book shelf to organize books as well!
