This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our fourth-grade students are eager learners who face challenges beyond the classroom, especially during the colder months. Many come from low-income households and lack proper winter clothing, making it difficult to stay warm and safe. A warm jacket can make all the difference, allowing our students to arrive at school comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.

This winter, we also want to celebrate the Lunar New Year, a time of warmth, togetherness, and new beginnings.

By providing these high-quality jackets, we can ensure our students stay cozy while joining in the spirit of the season. The Lunar New Year symbolizes luck, prosperity, and caring for one another—values we want our students to feel firsthand through this effort.

With your support, we can help our students brave the cold while fostering a sense of belonging and joy during this special time of year.
