My Project
I plan to use these materials to provide and create a cozy, comfortable, and inviting writing center. I have found with my time in teaching that writing can sometimes be seen as "not fun". I want to change children's outlook and attitudes towards writing. My hope is that with the couch, area rugs, shelving (to store their writing materials and supplies) will excite the children and motivate them to explore the world of writing. I teach Pre-K so including the writing pads will be fun for them, instead of only using paper and pencil.
