This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students attend a Title I school. They are all eager to learn and grow. Our classroom fosters growth, friendship, and a thirst for learning. They are a very diverse group of students and are some of the sweetest kids I've met!

They enjoy participating in hands-on, student-centered activities and are learning how to work well with one another in small groups.

I have a wide diversity of social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs in my classroom. I want to provide the best learning environment possible for their eager minds to grow!

My Project

Social distancing has become a part of everyday life for my first graders, which has made outdoor recess such an essential part of their social emotional development. It is the time when they are allowed to see each others full faces and really interact with one another.

These resources will allow me to make sure my students are warm while they enjoy outdoor recess in the colder months.

The sanitizing materials will help to keep them safe and healthy when they are indoors. The scented plug-ins will ensure that our classroom continues to smell welcoming.
