Cow Eye Dissection

My Project

My students have a love for hands-on learning. Any time they can engage with the lesson more than with a book, they show much more joy and excitement.

These Cow Eyes will be the culminating activity of our vision and light unit.

In this unit, we discuss the parts of the eye and how they work. My students are always curious to see just what is in an eyeball. The cow eyes relate very well to what is in our eyes as well. This project allows my students to have a real-world experience using real surgeon tools on real cow eyes.
