I teach Kindergarten in which children love to learn through play and hands-on activities. They are very eager to learn and I want to make sure they are successful whether they are learning remotely at home or within the classroom under the COVID guidelines. My school has a high percentage of students from low income households. We will be starting the beginning of the school year with nine weeks of remote learning. My main goal is to make sure that my children are provided a safe learning environment when they return back into the classroom as well as learn as much as possible with remote learning. I want to meet all my students' needs as best as I can for them to meet their fullest potentional.
My Project
My students will be learning using remote learning the first 9 weeks of school and then switching to hybrid learning in October. These materials would help individualize materials that will need to be sanitized daily within the classroom as well as giving them opportunities to use them at home too. The materials will help students complete work independently, help learn math and reading skills easier by using hands-on activities, and encourage participation.
Also, we will be able to have extra masks for students if we are able to fund our project so that all students can come to school, even if they left their masks at home/broken.
It is mandatory for all students to wear masks. Please help my students learn the best way possible during this COVID pandemic whether at home or at school in which everything needs to be individualized.
