We typically share everything in our kindergarten classroom! Kindergarten is all about learning to share and working with others. However with Covid-19 I need to rethink how materials and supplies are used by students.
This project will provide students with an indvidual supply container for manipulatives so that germs are not shared from student to student.
My Project
This project will provide my students with individual math boxes that will help students master kindergarten math concepts like patterning, number sense and simple addition and subtraction.
In a typical year my kindergarten students would share communial supplies when it comes to math time.
However, sharing supplies is not currently a safe option. Therefore, I am requesting math manipulatives and supply boxes so that I can assemble a "math box" for each student. These boxes will be used only by the student it is assigned to and will provide math manipulatives in one convient location.
By funding this project you are helping to purchase individual supply boxes for each student, dry erase erasers, dice, pattern boxes, counting bears and cubes for counting and patterning.
