My students are enthusiastic about learning, but this year, we have all been challenged with the effects of Covid-19. Our school district has chosen to offer two options to our students, in order to assist them with their own personal safety concerns. We are opening schools for an in-person option as well as offering a simultaneous live-streaming option for those who are choosing to remain home. This will allow students to stay safe at home, and also allow students who may wake up one day just not feeling well have the ability to stay home. They will be able to log into the live streaming link and continue learning without any gaps in instruction.
This may also be necessary to stay home if they become exposed to someone with Covid.
My Project
I am hoping to be able to provide earbuds with microphones so that my students can participate in learning. Most students do not have access to any earbuds and will need them to participate in learning this year.
I am also hoping to receive a document camera to continue teaching remotely in the event that my class and/or I have to quarantine.
This is crucial to continue delivering lessons without any interruptions. My hope is that my request will be fully funded, in order to effectively teach my students this year.
