COVID Friendly Seating Options for Kindergarten Students!

Help me give my students some amazing options for alternative seating that allows them to maintain distance and still have so much fun!

My Students

This year, my kindergarten class is FULL of amazing, happy and beautiful, five and six year olds! Many of my students have high needs and special accommodations that I am looking to make easier for everyone.

Kindergarten is the foundation year for learning and routines.

Establishing an inclusive and fun environment is always our goal.

My Project

With COVID, unfortunately, still running a muck, I'd love to give my students an opportunity to collaborate with their peers and partners while still maintaining distance. Many of my students need an alternative space to work to accommodate their behavior needs. Optional seating such as surf desks and bean bags, create personal spaces that are comfortable and help students maintain independence. Headphones are a must for minimizing distractions from our iPads and we could use a few sets of these.

In addition, masks have a become a staple in our classroom and a necessary bi-weekly order.

I would love some help keeping them stocked for my little ones.

Currently, we are working to improve our fine motor skills and play-doh will be extremely helpful.

Having these supplies in our classroom will be so wonderful!
