COVID-19 Won't Stop Our Flow

Help me give my students breakfast foods and snacks for weekend and afterschool training and conditioning sessions.

My Students

I coach 6th-8th grade students in Nashville, TN. My students come from low socio-economic homes, and the majority live in poverty-stricken neighborhoods. They love school and are thankful to be able to come to a place where they feel safe and know that they are loved. They come to school with huge smiles and are ready to be a part of their future.

My students are bright and often are overlooked because of their neighborhood or community.

Our school is a Title I public charter school, and funding is limited, especially for academic extras. Our students are eager to use their skills and show the world that they have talent. Unfortunately, this is hard when you are worried about having support. We are limited to sponsoring items due to funding.

We have dedicated students who work hard, but there is no means of supporting their creativity. Our students deserve to have every advantage to compete in this ever-changing global economy.

My Project

My student athletes are a dedicated group. They are here afterschool and on the weekends training and conditionng for the upcoming season next school year. We were truly sad that the COVID-19 pandemic slowed and stopped our seasons all together. But my athletes banned together and decided that somethings are out of our control and we should focus on what we can control, our bodies.

Help me give my students athletes breakfast foods and snacks to energize them on the weekends and after school as we continue to train and condition our bodies for the upcoming season.
