This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As a teacher in a high-poverty school, I have the unique opportunity to work with a group of twenty-six students from varying backgrounds who all contribute unique skills and experiences to our classroom.

Our class is made up of a multilingual and global community of learners, with over half the class speaking a language other than English at home.

These bright, innovative, spunky students are enthusiastic readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and historians. They deserve the best education in the world!

My Project

We use our class set of Chromebooks every day in our classroom, whether we are writing opinion essays on google docs or creating presentations about the 13 colonies. In order to keep our Chromebooks safe and make sure that many more students to come will be able to use them, we need covers to prevent scratching and unnecessary damage.

The covers will ensure that hundreds of students will be able to benefit from technology in the classroom as the Chromebooks will last longer and not break as easily.

Any support is so appreciated and will make a lasting difference in our classroom!
