My Project

My "Counting on Fun" project is to provide kindergarten students with an interactive learning experience that combines play and education. By introducing play coins, a register, and pretend food items, this project aims to teach young learners the foundational skills of counting money.

This hands-on approach not only makes learning engaging but also prepares students for real-world mathematical applications.

Early exposure to financial literacy is crucial in developing essential life skills. Research indicates that children who engage in play-based learning are more likely to grasp complex concepts, such as counting and money management. This project supports educational theories that advocate for experiential learning, emphasizing the importance of integrating practical skills into early childhood education.
