This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are extremely excited when it is time for math! They love playing math games. They will have fun manipulating counters to count, sort, and pretend play with the colorful counters to engage with.
All of my students enjoy math through play manipulatives while sharing with their classmates!
They use their imagination making up math stories with their peers. The students will also be able to create patterns as they explore and describe mathematical ideas. The math manipulatives will provide hands-on learning day by day increasing their problem solving skills.
