Counting Coins for Desk Pets

Help me give my students coins and desk pets to practice saving and counting coins that they get for good behavior.

My Project

In Kindergarten we love to earn coins for good behavior. Throughout the day my students can earn a coin for all kinds of things such as listening on the rug, cleaning up, helping a friend, etc. This allows my students to practice many things at once. They collect coins for good behavior and then get to save up for things that they want.

Desk pets give the students something to be responsible for.

They have to take care of these pets and give them shelter, food, and friends. My students enjoy collecting these fun erasers and collecting the coins they need to do so. This is a great incentive for their good choices and behavior throughout the day.
