This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m excited to share a project I am launching called “Counselors Create Calm Comfortable Classrooms.” This initiative is designed to provide our students with a peaceful, supportive environment where they can thrive academically and emotionally. We are requesting a file cabinet, headphones, storage cart and other resources.These tools help create a calming atmosphere, reducing anxiety and improving focus. When students feel emotionally supported, they are more likely to engage in learning, retain information, and perform at their best. My goal is to create a space where students can feel safe, grounded, and ready to learn. By reducing stress and promoting emotional well-being, we aim to enhance their concentration, behavior, and overall academic success. This project is about ensuring that every student has the opportunity to excel, not only in their studies but in life. Our students are resilient and full of potential. Many face challenges outside the classroom, yet they demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow. By providing a calm, supportive environment, we can help them overcome these obstacles and unlock their full potential. Your support will directly impact the well-being and success of our students.
