Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is an early college school, which gives students the opportunity to earn up to 60 college credits starting with classes in their freshman year. The vast majority of our students are successful with the support provided by staff and teachers to adapt to the independence and demands of college coursework. As a result, our students have the unique ability to gain college credits towards Bachelor's or Associate's degrees or certificates in high-demand STEAM-related fields, reducing the expense and time needed to gain employment.

Providing our students with planners will help students our students be successful in their coursework and build organizational skills they will need for the rest of their lives.

Erasable pens allow students to be able to make changes in their planners and sign documents without worrying about the smudging that tends to happen with pencils. With support from these materials, our students will be able to start the year off strong with what they need in order to be successful.
