This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am the lucky teacher of the most intelligent, humorous, and creative 2–3-year old's. My children (students) come in every morning eager to learn and express their uniqueness. When the busy morning winds down, and their morning curiosities are explored, they look forward to their resting time. Unfortunately, my children (students) have old torn cots. I would love to provide new cots; studies have demonstrated that rest is essential for toddlers' developmental growth. My children (students) deserve the world. Providing appropriate resting cots is the beginning of closing the equity gap.
