Costumes for Finding Nemo Musical

Help me give my students costumes for their musical Finding Nemo. We need to keep the costumes simple. Different colored t-shirts: gray for sharks, green for sea turtles, pink for jellyfish, different colors for all kinds of fish.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school was awarded a three year grant from Disney Musicals in Schools to establish performances of musicals in our community. Our grant includes the copyright fees and a professional teaching artist who specializes in producing musicals in schools. As a school we need to create costumes, props and scenery to compliment our musical.

As this is our initial step of a three year plan to bring musicals to our community, our costumes will be simple.

Different colors of t-shirts will help our actors and our audience see the diversity and beauty found in the ocean. Adding simple decorations to the T-shirt will help them stand out.
