Help me give my students telescopes to observe both the day and night sky and help them gain an understanding of magnifiers, and objects in the sky, and develop a love for exploration.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Young minds are curious and fascinated by the world around them. Students in my classroom love to read about Space, Science, and Technology. In First Grade, they learn about the day and night sky, the Sun, and Moon. So why not combine them? I want to show them the moon and other faraway objects up close through the lens of a telescope.
All the First Grade students at our school will benefit from these telescopes and can jump-start their love of space and exploration through the observation of our beautiful universe.
Children who are exposed to meaningful lessons at an early age are more likely to develop their love of learning. These telescopes will benefit many students at our school for years to come. Please help me give them an experience unlike any other!
