Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
During this pandemic, I have contact with my students and their families. The majority of my students are receiving instruction through virtual class meetings. Others are receiving instruction through social media because they only have internet on their cellphones. They constantly state they wish we could be back at school.
My Project
My students will receive extra instruction with distance learning activities. They can work at their own pace and interest. They can also teach their parents how subjects such as Math have changed. During this time parents need assistance in providing for their children. As a teacher at this moment, I lack the funds to provide my students with various distance learning activities because of the need to provide for my family. The gift cards to Teachers Pay Teachers would really come in handy. There are so many activities that my students could benefit from.
