Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project makes me very excited to ask for, through out this year in my class I have already read them 4 chapter books. We have read Wonder, Charlotte's Web, and now we have moved on to the Wild Robot Series which we are already reading its third book. Reading to my students has connected us and I have seen them building a love for reading.
Now my students ask me to read to them, which took us some time for them to enjoy.
I started this to be able to help them with their listening skills since all of them are English language learners and they were going to test AZELLA. For this reason, I want to create a library in my class to have a variety of books to read to them since some I have read this year have even been borrowed from another class. As well as to continue with this through out my teaching years since I have seen a great difference in my classroom this year.
