My students need this EV3 Robot for our robotics team to practice with and compete locally.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Rosebrook's classroom raised $583
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students are excited and driven when it comes to STEAM activities and love competing in robotics events. The students selected for this team have to go through a thorough application process and try out for our team presenting ideas on how to solve real world problems.
Only those who are driven, enjoy STEAM areas, and are great problem solvers and teammates are selected to be on the team and compete.
Many students in robotics are apart of our talent development program within our school or are high achieving within the classroom.
My Project
This EV3 lego Mindstorms robot would be our main robot to use and compete with for our First Lego League season. We have used third party materials and instruction in the past and are now ready to compete and learn on our own. The robot will be used weekly as we prepare for contests and problem solve as a team.
The robot will help our students learn and practice complex math, engineering, and programming.
We have a 10-12 member team with 3 returning members who were a part of our 2017 1st place finish in Robofest Charlotte our local competition.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
