This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to provide each of my students with a copy of "Fish in a Tree" so we can do a core literature unit with it. I also am requesting a gift card for Teachers Pay Teachers to buy materials to support the literature unit.

My students will get to experience the satisfaction of reading an entire chapter book while learning and addressing grade-level English Language Arts skills and standards.

This book has a wonderful lesson in it. Many of my students will be able to relate to it personally. But I know that all of my students will enjoy it!
