This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are 20 first grade authors in a high-needs area in NY. We love to write, and we are learning how to type our stories on the computer. School is so much fun! We love to learn, so we come everyday!
Our classroom has five computers for us to type and work on, but we do not have a printer. Plus, our schools copier breaks a lot, so we don't always get our homework.
With this printer, we would be able to print copies of our writing to show our parents. We are so proud of our work, we want to show everyone. Our teacher could use this printer to make our homework packages. This way we will always have homework to help us learn. We think homework is a lot of fun!
One day we want to be author, but for right now our stories can only stay on a computer. With your help, you could help our stories come to life! We can print our stories for everyone to see. The printer will help us get our homework, so we can keep on working on our math and other subjects! School is a place that is fun and helps us learn, when you help us, you are giving us an opportunity for a brighter future. Your the BEST! Thanks First Grade Authors
