My Project
Sometimes students need a notebook that's just for jotting down coping skills and their feelings on how using those coping skills made them feel. Fidgets also help to keep their hands busy while they concentrate on their thoughts or try and ground themselves if they find themselves in a situation to do so.
Goals for this project to to give students a tangible item to help them remember they can cope and or they have options.
Whether it's writing it down, drawing, squeezing a stress ball or using a fidget toy.
My students are special because they just are! While each is unique, they continue to surprise me each day I see them. Knowing that they are trying their best every single day.
