My students need a copier to make copies of handouts, homework, and copies of writing paper.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a general education, third grade teacher. My students live in an urban area that is a high-need community.
Often there are homework sheets and practice pages that cannot get copied so we have to do without. The school has one copy machine and is backed up with the number of items needed to be copied. Often the copier is broken, or teachers don't have access to it.
If we had a copier in our classroom the students each have a worksheet instead of looking at the overhead copy that all of us must share. Instead of using class time to copy from the board homework problems, I could make a worksheet for them and have them actually working on math, word study, etc. in class or have them practice at home for homework.
Your help would ensure that more time is spent learning and less on coping work off the board. These children deserve more than what they are given and your gift would prove that that do indeed deserve what other schools often take for granted.
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our young ones!
