My Project
I have a great group of first graders. My students love to play with each other. Using the following manipulatives and activities, my students will be able to play with others cooperatively while also practicing their social skills while playing with others. These manipulatives will be used during the morning while students are coming into the classroom. When we have inside recess, students will be given the opportunity to play with the following manipulatives.
These manipulatives will promote social/emotional learning and STEM-based thinking through the different manipulatives listed. My students love to play with different STEM-based activities and I look forward to adding these new opportunities to my classroom!
