My Project
My students are 4 & 5-year-old kindergarteners and need to feel safe and comfortable as they learn. They are, young, energetic, and easily distracted as our classroom is very hot. 80% or more of them are qualified for free lunch. Studies have shown that young children have a short attention span, and a hot room will add to their distractions. A hot room makes my students uncomfortable and miserable, making it hard for them to focus on their work. An air conditioner will help provide a cool, comfortable environment for my 25 energetic learners. My students are eager to learn and deserve a safe and cool environment in which to learn.
