Cooling Comforts and Supplies

Help me give my students a comfortable learning environment. Due to the older heating/cooling infrastructure, my classroom is easily in the 80s all day long. Help us reduce the heat with fans and softer light.

My Project

Due to the nature of our older building, the heating/cooling is "special" in our area. Over the next few months, the heat will build up and we will average 84-86 degrees in a classroom with no windows. Recent safety updates require us to keep our door shut, too!

Help us create a comfortable learning environment for my students!

They deserve to come into my room and not worry about sweating. Also, an overly heated room makes students drowsy and less focused. I need to keep my students alert so they can be motivated to complete their work.

I've also put in a few items we need to restock on like glue and tape. I use the tape to create specialized notebook covers and reference cards that I tape to their desks.
