I would like to order kid sized furniture for my students to sit on. I teach 2nd grade reading lab and separate the students by reading levels. Some sit at the table with me and some sit on the carpet and read. This way they don't hear each other read and get mixed up. It would be great if they had two mini couches to sit on and partner read instead of the floor.
My Project
Students have been at home for months. Being back at school is hard for some students. By having comfortable home like couch and chairs to set on will increase the welcome level in reading. I would like to get a couch, chair, and stool for students to see on. Currently I have a table the students read at. With this new furniture I can read to the students at the table then have them go to the seating to practice independent reading. I already have one mini recliner the students read at. My students argue about who gets to set there.
