This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A mini fridge in the classroom can be beneficial for several reasons. It provides a convenient way to store perishable snacks and lunches, ensuring that items like yogurt, cheese, and fresh fruit remain fresh until lunchtime. Additionally, some students require refrigerated medications, such as insulin or liquid antibiotics, making a mini fridge a practical necessity for their health and well-being. Keeping cold drinks available also encourages hydration, which can improve focus and energy levels throughout the day. In certain classrooms, particularly those focused on science or nutrition, a fridge may be necessary for experiments or projects. Furthermore, students with dietary restrictions or allergies may need to store specific food items separately to avoid cross-contamination. Lastly, a mini fridge can also serve the teacher, allowing them to keep their lunch, drinks, or supplies cold. Overall, having a mini fridge in the classroom can contribute to a more comfortable, accommodating, and efficient learning environment.
