My Project

As the weather warms up, our students are spending more time outside—whether it’s for outdoor learning, recess breaks, or special events like our upcoming 8th-grade field trip to Six Flags. To ensure that all students stay healthy, safe, and comfortable, we are requesting sunscreen, hand sanitizer, hand soap, and portable fans.

These simple but essential supplies will help our middle schoolers enjoy outdoor time without the discomfort or health risks that can come from sun exposure, overheating, or limited access to hygiene supplies.

Whether they’re participating in outdoor science activities, taking a brain break during the school day, or enjoying their well-earned end-of-year trip, students need to stay protected from the sun and germs while staying cool and refreshed. Many of our students come from low-income households, and we want to make sure everyone has equal access to the items they need to feel safe and comfortable.

Portable fans will offer relief on hot days, especially for students with sensory or medical needs. Sunscreen will help prevent burns during extended time outdoors, while hand soap and sanitizer support cleanliness when transitioning between indoor and outdoor activities. With your support, we can provide these health and comfort essentials so that every student can focus on learning, connecting, and celebrating together—no matter the temperature.
