My Project
Flexible seating creates a shift in the mindset of students providing different opportunities to learn in comfortable ways. This changes the classroom environment and setting giving students ownership and choice. This can be used with all subjects in 1st grade and with a variety of groupings. Research shows flexible seating positively affects students engagement in class. This seating choice allows students to have control over their physical environment., and they are able to internalize their learning. When students are comfortable they are most likely to be more productive and retain information better.
