My Project
Our first-grade students have a big imagination and are wildly creative. They are continually learning how to communicate their thoughts and ideas through different outlets like drawing, writing, and speaking. Since they have been making incredible efforts towards practicing their writing skills, we wanted to highlight that by providing them with blank storybook paper, so that they can write and illustrate their OWN stories! They can then share the stories they made with their classmates, friends, and families. While this can further improve our storytellers' writing abilities, most importantly, it can also increase their confidence to write and share their ideas.
Wobble seat cushions can give our little learners the sensory input they need to regulate themselves and feel more comfortable in the classroom.
This is important during times when students feel restless, irritable, and unstimulated. Because the seat cushions aid in regulation for the students, this can increase feelings of comfort and safety, which are essential to making learning possible.
