My Project

Each January we read different versions of the Gingerbread Man... the traditional, the Ninja Gingerbread Man, The Gingergirl just to name a couple. As part of this unit, we create and bake a Gingerbread Man who just happens to run away. We have to go searching for him and visiting all over the school (the office, the nurses office, the library, the cafeteria) only to return to our classroom and find him there!

Another example of using the oven is during our celebration of Thanksgiving and making corn bread and cranberry bread for our kindergarten feast.
