Third grade is fabulous! My school is a Title I school and my students are from a low to middle-class background. One hundred percent of the student population at my school receives free breakfast and lunch.
While my students encounter a numerous variety of disadvantages and challenges on the daily basis because they come from a lower socioeconomic background, they do not let that hinder them from trying their best to achieve their educational goals.
It is very noticeable that to aid students in productive learning, they must have classroom materials that are easily accessible. Being that my class is so large it is often times difficult for my students to have adequate storage space. When students have to get up to go to their book bags or cubbies it is distracting to the rest of the class and takes away from instructional time. The materials requested would provide my students with a convenient storage space for books and materials. My students educational experience would really benefit from this extra storage!
