Continuing to Feed Young Minds

Help me give my students snacks and food security to help them succeed in their alternative classroom.

My Project

Students should be able to focus on academics; however, these alternative school students, usually have a weight most adults have not experienced.

During our winter break around 25% more of my classroom students started a journey of being houseless, making not only a place to sleep difficult to find but fueling their bodies.

Providing food security for our students helps them be successful in fulfilling their wish of graduating on time and providing a better future for themselves.

Feeding our students is one of the ways we help them feel safe, provided for, and comfortable to learn and get their diplomas on time. This food will be used for breakfast, snacks, and lunch while they are in an alternative setting for classwork.
