Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an independent study teacher at a PBIS school, I am now educating a great group of enthusiastic fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students over Google Meet. My students are excited about learning and love to share their ideas.
My students absolutely love digital BreakoutEDU educational games.
By having access to their game platform, my students are actively engaged in a wide variety of curriculum-based puzzles. However, our subscription is about to expire and we don’t want to miss these games! This 12 month renewal subscription will give us access to over 600 games based on core subjects.
These games really strengthen my students' communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and team-building skills. While the puzzles are versatile and can be geared to any content area, our main focus is on language arts and math. My students have loved the games we have done so far this year, but they would like to continue working together on them over Google Meet on Fridays. This will give my students the opportunity to practice and show what they have learned during class.
