My Project

The students this year were always trying new things. When I brought in some simple hot wheel tracks I had no idea all the thought-provoking ideas that were going to happen. We had the tracks on the floor, going through chairs, across tables and even multiple students just holding it trying to see how fast the cars could go or who went the furthest.

Their determination to get the cars to go up the hill has kept them coming back with new plans.

I really enjoy seeing them work together and have fun. Many students have stated they do not have these items at home. I would love to send this simple track and a couple of cars home so they can continue to experiment and see how ramps, hills, velocity, momentum, and creativity all work together.
