Math and reading are two of the toughest subjects that our students struggle with. The purpose of requesting these materials will assist with building student's math skills in geometry and strengthening their reading skills. Students will receive these books that will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that they need to be successful.
These books can help keep students engaged in understanding the concepts and principles that these books can give them.
The products that I have selected have word problems that will give them the ability to read aloud and have understanding of what ways they need to solve the problems. We hope that these materials will keep students engaged, and create a successful environment.
These books will be very helpful for our students. For the most part, our students have struggled significantly in the area of geometry, and we want to do our best to build their confidence and abilities in this area, so that they may score successfully this year. Our students are such eager and excited students who love to shine in math. When they are able to show how they have grasped the concepts in class, it gives me a pride that can't be explained. The students have also began showing improvement in their reading skills, and the connection also builds their skills in ELA. We hope that if these items are donated, they will give our students the boost that they need to SOAR.
